Pat Eckles was a resident of Plymouth and a Plymouth High School alumnus. After graduation, he took a few classes at Schoolcraft College while working at Ford Motor Company. He loved hunting, fast cars, and drag racing. He was engaged, drafted, and married to Denise Econom, who was also a Plymouth High School alumnus. Pat was deployed to Vietnam and was KIA in August 1969. He earned the Bronze Star. Unfortunately, he never saw or knew his daughter, who was born in October 1969.
